"Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, "As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be thier God." - Genesis 17:3-8

States may confine people
to within national borders, but humanity is borderless. As a champion of natural
law philosophy, I know that God created all men free, but some governments are
able to confiscate those God-given liberties. The mantra of some politicians is
to put American interests first and foremost. But human interests
should be paramount, and by promoting the natural liberties of our fellow humans, American
interests will be elevated.
I am not an isolationist,
nor am I a war hawk, nor do I think that the United States should be the world’s
police. The United States is perfectly capable of maintaining its sovereignty
while fully participating in the community of nations. The United States is the
most powerful and influential nation on Earth, and as such, my foreign policy
would foremost be centered on the idea of America as the proverbial city on a
hill, a shining light for democracy. It would be sinful to send American troops
to risk their lives to intervene in every global conflict. Our military is one
tool in the foreign policy chest, only to be used when bilateral, multilateral,
or global diplomatic options fail. The United States would remain an active,
critical member of the UN, NATO, the OAS, and our other inter-governmental
organizations.

THE ROJAVAN REVOLUTION AND THE THIRD SYRIAN FRONT
An in-depth research paper on the Syrian Kurds, and the autonomous democratic republic they have held since 2012. Since I wrote this, the United States has chosen to abandon the autonomy of Rojava in the ongoing Syrian peace negotiations, in the name of "greater strategic interests."
